Gypsum
Gypsum is a reliable source of Calcium and Sulphate Sulphur.
Gypsum assists the stabilising and strengthening of soil structure by encouraging the small clay and silt particles to bind together to form stable soil aggregates. This provides for better water retention, storage and improved drainage.
Plants will show better root development and penetration thereby getting to the nutrients and water they need for growth.
Gypsum does not alter pH.
Calcium is vital for maintaining soil pH and an important component in cell wall strength and function thereby assisting root growth and development.
Sulphur is an important nutrient in making the right proteins in plants
