Compostable Packaging

Envirofert is undertaking extensive trials in conjunction with Scion Research and Shannon Agricultural Consulting to determine if packaging materials claimed to be compostable do, in fact, compost under Envirofert's commercial aerobic composting conditions.

The trial will be undertaken over a 6 month period with regular checks performed to monitor the breakdown of the materials.

Envirofert will, at its sole discretion, advise parties interested in using the materials on suitability of the material based on the outcome achieved.
